I am available to speak on virtually any topic related to humility, including “Humility at the Workplace,” “Humility and Mental Health,” “Humility in the Church,” “Humility in a time of COVID,” “Humility and Relationships,” and “Humility and Healing America’s Racial and Political Divide.”
As evidenced by the woman who came up to me after my seminar on “Humility and Mental Health,” these seminars can be life-changing. Her exact words were “After listening to what you just said I’m going to have to go home and apologize to my husband.” If my seminars can keep someone from sleeping on the couch that night, I know I’ve done my job! LOL
Below is a letter written by a participant at one of my seminars on “Humility at the Workplace”:
“I and approximately 35 other staff members recently had the pleasure of attending Daniel Cohen’s one-hour seminar on Humility at the Workplace. Mr. Cohen’s seminar was exciting, humorous, informative and culture-changing. He delivered his message with all of the flare you’d expect from an ordained minister, and kept us laughing at himself (and ourselves) throughout the presentation, including a wonderful “humility quiz” where we tested our HQ (humility quotient).
Mr. Cohen laid out what he’d learned from writing about humility for the past decade succinctly and thoroughly. In a remarkably short period of time, we were able to learn about the definitions of humility and how the various paths to humility Mr. Cohen highlighted could help us deal with our clients and each other.
Mr. Cohen’s presentation helped make for a more enjoyable workplace as well, and I particularly liked the way he closed the session by having us write thank you cards to each other. It really made me appreciate my job and my co-workers more, and I believe it helped create a healthier, happier work environment.
In short, I recommend this seminar for any workplace that could benefit from Mr. Cohen’s unique brand of humility, which focuses on the value of working hard and treating others with the same respect and patience we would like to experience ourselves.”
