How may I be of service to you?
IIn addition to being a writer with a Master’s Degree in Journalism, I’m currently a licensed clinical social worker with a modest private practice.
Author/Speaker
I’ve spoken at churches and mental health organizations and am available to speak on virtually any topic related to humility, including “Humility at the Workplace,” “Humility and Mental Health,” “Humility in the Church,” “Humility and Relationships,” and “Humility and Healing America’s Racial and Political Divide.”
As evidenced by the woman who came up to me after my seminar on “Humility and Mental Health,” these seminars can be life changing events. Her exact words were “After listening to what you just said I’m going to have to go home and apologize to my husband.” If my seminars can keep someone from sleeping on the couch that night, I know I’ve done my job! LOL
Below is a letter written by a participant at one of my seminars on “Humility at the Workplace”:
Psychotherapy
Are you looking for someone to help you through these challenging times? Are you truly interested in growing into the person you really want to be? Do you want to improve your relationships, whether it be with your significant other, your family, or at work? Do you want to grow spiritually? Do you want to work with someone who views his work as a calling, not merely a way to make a living? A therapist with a sense of humor and heartfelt humility? One who is culturally aware and who adapts his therapy to your very personal needs? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, I believe we would work well together.
Happiness Through Humility Group
Our Facebook Group “Happiness Through Humility” is not just a place where we can share tips on how to become happier through humility, but somewhere you can share just about anything that’s positive and inspirational. Feel free to check it out and share your insights with your fellow travelers on this journey called Life.
